When you book a market, fair, or pop-up event, one question always comes up:

“Can you provide a risk assessment?”

For many traders and creatives, this is where stress sets in.

This Trader Risk Assessment Template has been created to remove that stress — giving you a clear, professional, UK-focused document that meets typical event organiser requirements and is easy to personalise using Canva.

Built from real experience attending UK markets and events, this template allows you to focus on what matters most: running your business and enjoying your events.

If you have chosen the option for us to make the changes for you, please note the following:

"After your purchase, I'll send you an email to collect some necessary information, including your business name, logo, and any additional details required for the template. Once I have this information, I'll finalise the document and send it back to you."

IS THIS FOR YOU?

This template is ideal if you are:
✔ A market trader or stallholder
✔ A craft or artisan business
✔ A pop-up shop or event seller
✔ Trading at UK fairs, shows, or community events

It is not intended for high-risk industries or complex manufacturing environments.

WHAT YOU RECEIVE

✔ A professionally structured 5-page risk assessment
✔ Common trader hazards already identified
✔ Control measures clearly explained
✔ BEFORE and AFTER risk scoring included
✔ Editable sections highlighted in red
✔ Space to add your branding and logo

Once customised, the document can be reused, duplicated, or updated for different events.

DESIGNED FOR UK EVENTS

This template reflects:

  • UK Health & Safety expectations

  • Common event organiser requirements

  • Typical market and stallholder risks

While it is UK-focused, it can be adapted for use elsewhere if required.
