Traders & Stallholders Risk Assessment Template | Fully Editable Document
Traders & Stallholders Risk Assessment Template | Fully Editable Document
Hello and Welcome to an 'Innovation by Design' listing page. Are you looking for fully editable forms and handbooks for your craft, artisan, market trading business? Then look no further!!
I have been going to markets, craft fairs, artisan markets for many years now in one form or another and have created many of the forms, handbooks and guides that you would need to streamline your business operations and save you time while you work hard in your business.
As a business owner, you have a legal duty to reduce any potential risks to yourselves, any staff you may employ and the general public who come into your area looking for something amazing to purchase from your stall. Part of this duty, involves carrying out a risk assessment if members of the public are likely to be present in your shop area.
You will be asked at every event you book for your risk assessment, or they have sent you a weird form for YOU to fill in, and most of us have no idea what to fill out or write down!! For this reason, I have had this Risk Assessment template created for you to save you time, plus we have done 90% of the hard work for you...
WHAT IS INCLUDED WITHIN THIS TEMPLATE?:
~ Fully customisable 5-page risk assessment form to adapt to your business needs.
~ Save this template and duplicate it for each event that you go to to make it event specific that you use so you can create an assessment for each one, or have it generic to use for every event with no changes.
~ Works well with our method statements for setting up a stall.
Our 5 page risk assessment template is easily editable in CANVA and is specifically designed to comply with H&S Law within the UK but you can adapt it to your country's H&S Laws.
YOU have complete control over the customisation of this template.
~ This includes editing the text (content, format, size, colour and style).
~ Adding or replacing images.
~ Changing the background colour.
~ Moving or scaling elements.
(Your Company Name) is highlighted throughout in red, just change them all to YOUR Company Name and change the colour back to black. We have also made room on the appropriate pages to have your company logo added. Just delete the wording 'Add Logo Here' and the box, then upload your logo directly into the space. Easy!
There are areas on page one with 'tick boxes' for you to tick the appropriate answers. I have left a green tick in an empty box that you can just 'copy' and either paste it duplicate it and move it over the required tick box.
PLEASE NOTE:
Historically, I have been trained to create risk assessments, but it is important to know that I am NOT a health and safety officer. So please do NOT change any of the content or numbers within the sections of this document, unless you have been trained to do so!! If there is an incident or accident, there will be an investigation and any changes you make (unless trained to do so) could have a negative impact on any decisions made through the investigation of any incident.
Please do read through the risk assessment, especially section 3 and put into place the recommendations from this section. This will reduce any accidents or incidents from occurring whilst you are enjoying working on your pitch. Please see this document as more than just a tick-in-the-box exercise. You want to avoid any accidents in your stall and cause injury to yourself or members of the public!!
That being said, do not stress but enjoy every event you book in, and may they all make you some money and help keep you happy, and stay safe out there.
