Services

We provide website design and related services as agreed with the client.

Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate content and materials
  • Ensure you have rights to all content supplied
  • Respond promptly to requests

Payment Terms

  • Payment terms will be agreed before work begins
  • Work may not commence until payment (or deposit) is received
  • Late payments may result in suspension of services

Delivery

We will deliver services:

  • With reasonable care and skill
  • Within agreed timeframes or a reasonable time if not specified

Revisions

The number of revisions included will be agreed in advance. Additional revisions may incur extra charges.

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the website design, code, and associated materials remain the property of Innovation by Design unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Upon full payment of all fees due, the client is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the completed website for their own business purposes.

This licence permits the client to:

  • Use the website for their business operations
  • Display and publish the website publicly
  • Make reasonable content updates

This licence does not permit the client to:

  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the website
  • Copy the design or structure for use in other projects
  • Claim ownership of the underlying design, code, or framework

If full payment is not received, no licence is granted and the client has no right to use the website.

Cancellation & Cooling-Off

  • Consumers have a 14-day cooling-off period
  • If work begins within this period, you agree:
    • Work may start immediately
    • You will pay for work completed if you cancel

Cancellation Fees

If cancelled after work has begun:

  • You must pay for work completed up to cancellation
  • Fees will reflect actual work carried out

Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Loss of business, revenue, or data
  • Issues caused by third-party platforms (e.g. Shopify)

Nothing excludes statutory rights under UK law.

Termination

We may terminate services if:

  • Terms are breached
  • Payments are not made
